With decades of experience in the construction industry, Felix's journey began humbly when he attended trade school to gain a hands-on education in every aspect of the building trades. From carpentry and electrical work to project management and structural planning, Felix immersed himself in learning the full scope of construction. This comprehensive foundation gave him the confidence and capability to launch his own company, one that would reflect his values, skill, and passion for building.
Over the years, Felix has grown Diaz Construction and Development into a respected and rapidly expanding organization known for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and reliability. His leadership style is unique: equal parts boots-on-the-ground and boardroom strategist. Unlike many in his position, Felix remains deeply involved in the daily operations of the company. He personally visits job sites to ensure standards are upheld, builds lasting relationships with clients, and is hands-on in the development and negotiation of contracts.

Johsylyne Coachman serves as the Vice President of Quality and Research & Developemt at Diaz Construction and Development, where she leads company-wide initiatives focused on quality assurance, research and development, operational performance, and innovation. With a strong background in manufacturing—specializing in quality control, research and development, and leadership—Johsylyne brings a results-driven mindset to every area of the organization.
She is a highly skilled problem solver with extensive knowledge in architecture, IT infrastructure, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Known within the company as the “muscle and the hammer” of the organization, Johsylyne plays a critical role in maintaining high standards, improving systems, and ensuring projects are executed with precision and accountability. Her leadership helps drive continuous improvement across all divisions while keeping customer satisfaction, performance, and long-term growth at the forefront of the company’s mission.
Chelsea Coachman - Vice President of Finance & Accounting
